EnsemblePail is an in silico online tool for identification of potential Lysine Acetylation sites from protein sequences. The computational method is based on ensembles of Support Vector Machine. EnsemblePail yields a sensitivity of 78.84%, a specificity of 95.12% and an accuracy of 93.66% in the case of 10-fold cross validation, together with the results of the case study, suggesting that EnsemblePail presented here can facilitate the identification of potential Lysine Acetylation sites and more confident annotation of protein Acetylation.
